What a Wonderful World

I haven't written since Barack Obama was elected President. What a joyous and historic occasion. The world is rejoicing.



For at least one moment in time there was not cynicism, but hope. What a wonderful reversal. What a healing to the past; the racism and the right wing in charge.

And finally the next generation is taking its proper place. Not encumbered by fear.

Today I heard that Obama was considering DeFazio and Kitzhaber for cabinet posts. Two other fabulous representatives. True to their beliefs even when they are ahead of their time.
