Making Art-Linocuts

Its been a creative month. I started with the passover series, and worked on the the four panels. Linocut is fun. The process and the results work for me. If you read it backwards to forward it has the number 0-4 in it. I framed it over my bed in a floating frame. 

Then a little detour into fashion design. Maya wanted to alter her dress for prom a little. First she put it on backwards with the zipper in the front. Looked better. Then she wanted the slit on the side to go higher and more slanted. I'm not a great sewer but we pinned it on her and was able to get what she wanted. 

Last piece was a picture of Sylvia and me on the subway in Brooklyn. It was one of the last pictures I have of my mom when she still lived independently. I like it, and with all art I keep learning things.
